Antizol (fomepizole) Injection is indicated as an antidote for ethylene glycol (such as antifreeze) or methanol poisoning, or for use in suspected ethylene glycol or methanol ingestion, either alone or in combination with hemodialysis.* Antizol is a synthetic alcohol dehydrogenase inhibitor. Its chemical name is 4-methylpyrazole.

Antizol is available in packages of four 1g/mL, 1.5mL vials. The NDC number for Antizol is 68727-200-02.
